Fuze Ceremonies offer a range of memorable humanist ceremonies; all are highly personal and unique. They offer families an opportunity to tell their stories and celebrate special moments in front of loved ones, in their own words rather than those of a Church or State.

Business Name - Fuze Ceremonies
Position in the Business - Celebrant
What made you decide to become a celebrant?
My interest in conducting ceremonies was first aroused by attending several humanist ceremonies as a guest. I was really struck by the many vivid ways with which people were able to celebrate life’s major milestones and share the human values which had brought together so many people. Above all though, I felt they were personal, authentic and memorable events, I wanted to be a part of this and be able to give something back to the wider community.
What is your favourite part of the business?
I love meeting people and hearing their stories, then turning those stories into a ceremony to commemorate a life milestone.
Being able to help families and couples celebrate different life events is something I will always cherish, but I feel especially privileged to be asked back in to a family to help them celebrate a new arrival with a naming ceremony, especially when I have previously conducted the couples wedding ceremony.
How do you spend your time away from work?
I love the outdoors and I am a keen walker, cyclist and snowboarder. However, I also love my creature comforts, especially cooking and snuggling up on the sofa with a good book. I am about to embark on the exciting journey of motherhood in early 2019, so I suspect my activity priorities will change, but you know what, I can't wait!
